At the heart of the experience, I believe that sharing sophisticated material written in terms children can understand will enlighten and brighten the child's learning as they move forward in life. The story is fun, engaging, and shares the value of continuing education.

Through the story, we are on a tour of a magical place that builds dog houses, and the tour guide is a wonderful dog named Ben. We get to learn and see various aspects of business through this amazing tour. Each child will learn as they read (or as the book is read to them). We meet Ms. Jenny who is the CEO of the company and has amazing wisdom for the children. The story introduces and explains business concepts while the reader takes a tour of a manufacturing factory. All characters are dogs and are very happy.

My son is 7 years old, and as he was growing up, his brain was open to complex concepts that are broken down. He understands the material and uses the concepts to make decisions. Many young children have watched a video on YouTube, and this book brings business concepts into a story for young readers to learn and engage. They can hear new words (business words, like accounting, culture, and mission) in the context of a story that will make them smile. I believe in the ability of each child to learn, grow, and engage in material that helps them become successful in life.

As a lifelong educator with a doctorate degree, I can see the value in every student and know that they have tremendous potential. This book engages early learners with basic concepts that will hopefully have a positive impact on their life. I look forward to our ability to make an impact on future leaders.
About the Author: ABC's of Business is written by Dr. David Veen. He is a Dad who cares about education and sharing knowledge with future leaders. Dr. Veen has a Doctorate in Business Administration and is a Business Professor with a University. He believes that the concepts of business should be available for all, regardless of ages, and this book allows him to share his passion of business with students of all ages.

Dr. Veen has a 7 year old son who he shares business adventures with while teaching about decision making, goal setting, and budgets. These are all important concepts, and he hopes that each child and their parents can enjoy special moments together.

His goal for the book is to allow children and parents to share a story together that opens the doors for business stories to be shared. The learning does not have to stop with this book, instead, each parent can share more about their jobs with their child(ren) and align with the business concepts in the book. There is also an opportunity for children to ask their parents about their parents jobs and learn more about business.

When Dr. Veen is not working at the University, he is spending time with his family or learning something new. He always says that learning never stops and can always take a moment to learn something new.
