Why the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Continuous Improvement in the same dictionary?
Experience has shown those interested in implementing IIoT are likely doing so to reap the benefits of improved productivity. If the fundamental interest is in improved productivity, why not include improvement and IIoT terms together in a single reference book? It also makes little sense to automate something as is that is inefficient and should be upgraded. Hence, Abidian's original Continuous Improvement Dictionary (published in 2010) was expanded to include both Continuous Improvement and Industrial Internet of Things terminology.
