About the Author: Dr. Atul Babbar is working as Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of SGT University, Gurugram. He has been teaching students in academics and research field. His research interests include Biomedical, 3D and 4D printing, Conventional/Non-Conventional Machining and not limited to that. He has authored several research articles and book chapters in various international/national Web of Science and Scopus journals. He has been granted with numerous national and international patents. He has been reviewing research articles of various peer reviewed SCI and Scopus indexed journals.
Dr. Nishant Ranjan is working as Assistant Professor at University Centre for Research and Development in the Chandigarh University. Fused deposition-modelling, extrusion, thermoplastic polymers, composition of thermoplastic polymers, natural and synthetic biopolymers, scaffolds printing, 3D printing technology, thermal, mechanical, morphological and chemical properties of thermoplastic polymers, biocompatible and biodegradable fillers, reinforcement of materials are the main focused area of Dr. Nishant Ranjan. He has co-authored more than 12 research papers in science citation index journal, 22 book chapters and presented 10 research paper in various national level conferences.
Dr. Ranvijay Kumar is an Assistant Professor in University Center for Research and Development, Chandigarh University. He has received Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Punjabi University, Patiala. Additive manufacturing, shape memory polymers, smart materials, friction based welding techniques, advance materials processing, polymer matrix composite preparations, reinforced polymer composites for 3D printing, plastic solid waste management, thermosetting recycling and destructive testing of materials are the skills of Dr. Ranvijay Kumar. He has co-authored more than 55 research papers in science citation index journal, 35 book chapters and has presented 20 research papers in various national/international level conferences.
Dr. Vikas Dhawan is an Academician and Administrator in the field of Higher education having more than 22 years of rich experience. He has more than 12 years of administrative experience in the capacity of Principal, Additional Director, Director & Director Principal in various Institutes of repute. He has filed 5 patents and has more than 40 research publications in International and National Journals and Conferences of repute. He has organized many conferences, seminars, FDPs & workshops and has chaired sessions in International & National conferences. He has established many labs, Incubation center and centers of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Ankit Sharma is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chitkara College of Applied Engineering at Chitkara University, Punjab, India. He has completed his doctoral from Thapar institute of engineering and technology, India. He has authored numerous national and international publication in SCI, Scopus and web of science indexed journal. He has filed/published 20+ National/International patents. His research interest includes 3D printing, modern machining, machining of hard & brittle materials, additive manufacturing etc. He has vast experience in Industry as well as academics.
