About the Author: C. Alfred Lewis, Sr. is a retired Private Investigator formerly having his own agency with over 35 employees. He has over 40 years of national and international experiences; primarily in industrial espionage thefts, fraudulent insurance scams, psychological evaluation of jurors in high profile federal and civil court cases, and as a security consultant. Retiring in 1993 he was finally able to pursue a lifelong desire to write. Since then he has published two Sherlock Holmes pastiche novels that have been met with great interest by his readers, numerous short stories, a recently released book. "The Demon of Hode", a tale of a five hundred year old family curse as told to him by his mother. He is recognized as an A. Conan Doyle Authority on Sherlock Holmes Chronicles and he authored for five years, "The Agony Column", a monthly Sherlockian Publication. His book, The Adventure of The Monolithic Crystal is his latest endeavor into adventure-occult-murder-terrorist uprising set in Brazil and the USA. He has just released a 185 page book of "Poems & Sayings" in which he writes of many experiences formed from friendships of those with whom he has shared in their times of adversities. C. Alfred Lewis, Sr. is a person of many varied interest ranging from collections of historical documents, ancient artifacts, art, and as a skeptic in researching mysterious alleged true stories and claims. He resides with his wife, an authentic Lumbee Indian Princess, and their two cats in their home, "Lewis Cottage" in Greenville, S. C., USA.
