It Is All About Me! Isn't It? is a children's picture book that shares the fun of having a broad sense of imagination. This illustrated picture book is placing the emphasis on the notion of imagination and the passion for adventures. Children enjoy the fun and joyful autonomous exploration of their own imagination through the means of playing, drawing and thinking. Cats love to play! Mice love to play around and perhaps indulge in cheese? This is especially true with the story of the Sourises and their fondness of eating cheese along with their innate fear for the Chats that produces a surprising outcome only perhaps achieved through imagination. The adventures and the exploration of the Sourises are available through the creative imagination. Imagination is a talent. The story It Is All About Me! Isn't It?, is full of imaginative adventures that explores the not imagined. Imagination is a significant attribute for the child's development. Imagination is the ability to develop and form stories, images with desired outcomes that come alive. It is an ability that contributes to the sense of the child's apparent imagination that lacks criticism. In the story the relationship between cats and mice becomes imaginably entertaining and unique. The colorful illustrations of the story, appears to come alive and evident to engage any child's curiosity. Children will enjoy and laugh along while reading this story. Children use their given talent of imagination choosing to see new things and experiences of their personal creation. Choosing to be expressive freely and according to their own free thinking and creative mind is imperative to the cognitive development of the child. Imagination has no boundaries and it is limitless and it only requires an active mind and a thought that lacks restriction. Imagination may yield the unimagined outcomes possible. The encouraging and nurturing the ability of a child's imagination and creativity is giving that child his/her space to explore and allowing the child's own self autonomy to develop and to grow in accordance and parallel with the child's development. Imagination is a talent that stays with the child for the future and becomes resourceful and a skill to utilize through out their adult life. The story gives children the opportunity to learn about their strengths and their awareness of the interaction process with their own imagination process. Guiding and facilitating the possibilities for the child is to prepare his/her safe environment. Taking responsibility and being independent is the very notion of giving that child the opportunity to learn about how to be a participant with confidence. Children are observant and active learners and they will enjoy, learn and benefit from reading this story. Enzo is a young boy and the narrator of the story. He is having a good time reading and getting engaged along the way in the course of his reading. The objective of the story is to share the joy of enticement and wittiness of the unusual events in the story. It is evident the way it happens and how it unfolds through the creative imagination. The story is whimsical! It is about fun and joyful times in the journey of the imagination. Learning occurs when children are involved. Learning is a fun process for the absorbent mind of the child. Learning while having fun is cognitively stimulating and it is imperative for the overall healthy development of the child. The story is informative and educational. Children will naturally relate to the story. The information is drawn and presented based on concrete knowledge and learning processes. Children learn while they are directly involved and observing how things happen. They learn in a concrete and tangible ways. It is part of the child's nature to be inquisitive and observant. Children are the bright future and the hope of human kind.
About the Author: It Is All About Me! Isn't It?, is the first book published in Enzo's picture book series. The author's most recent publications are, Just Like My Mommy! and I love you Mommy Forever! Osanna Rosa has worked with young children in different settings. Osanna Rosa is also the author and creator of several children's picture books. She created the following picture book series: Bella Bear, Emem Bear, Bello Enzo Bear books, The Family picture book series and The Fairy Tale book series. Bella Bear series is the author's first children's picture book collection.
