Dieses Buch erarbeitet die gemeinsamen Potentiale der verschiedenen Psychotherapieschulen. Psychologiestudium mit den Schwerpunkten Gestaltpsychologie (Wilhelm Witte, Wolfgang Metzger), Philosophie (Walter Schulz, Karl Löwith, Otto Bollnow) und Tiefenpsychologie (Robert Heiß); parallel dazu Medizinstudium in Tübingen, Wien und Freiburg. DAAD-Stipendium nach Wien (Viktor Frankl, Ferdinand Hoff), danach Dt. Studienstiftung und anschließend DFG-Stipendium (Thema: Psychophysiologische Faktorenanalyse; Co-Stipendiat: Jochen Fahrenberg). Med. Promotion 1964 in Freiburg. Med. Ass.-Zeit in Berlin. Fachärztliche Weiterbildung in Innerer Medizin, Neurologie und Psychiatrie/Psychotherapie sowie Psychosomatische Medizin. Leitung einer großen Abteilung mit stationärer Gestalttherapie, eingerichtet auf Wunsch der BfA, Berlin, für die Fachbereiche Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Psychiatrie (1978 - 87, Hardtwaldkliniken Bad Zwesten); anschließend eigene Praxis für Patienten und Aus- und Weiterbildungskandidaten (TP) im Auftrag der Landesärztekammer Hessen sowie später auch der Psychotherapeuten-kammer Hessen; Gründungs- und Vorstandsmitglied der Psychotherapie-Akademie Hessen (TP). Lehrtherapeutin für Gestalttherapie (ehem. FPI, DVG), Mtgl. d. European Association for Gestalt Therapy. Gastprofessorin der Uni Kassel 1987/88 (Gestalttherapie). Seit 2008 1. Vorsitzende des DDGAP (Deutscher Dachverband Gestalttherapie für approbierte Psycho-therapeuten). Mit-Autorin der Forschungssammlung von Wirksamkeitsstudien zur Gestalt-therapie (2010/2015). - Lehrbuchautorin für Gestalttherapie.
