About the Book

This is the maiden fiction written by the author. The story revolves over an Indian Prince, who in the course of exploration of this world travels to various places, meets different kinds of people, experiences various incidents, marries 8 women, acquires magical powers to vanish, control natural elements, cure snake bites and other poisonous conditions, diseases, fly wherever he wants to go, take any shape etc. He befriends gods and is helped by them. The experience of the hero Amara Simha and his adventures are in no way less than the heroes of the fantasies like Lord of the ring and Harry Potter. A few excerpts from the story: "Amara went to the dog and whispered a divine chant due to which the dog left its body and in its place a gandarva appeared. Gandarvas are like semi gods and are more powerful than the humans due to their magical powers." "Amara went outside when he was arrested and taken to the palace. Perceiving this through his divine power and his promise to help Amara when surrounded by enemies, Sumantra, the gandarva sent heavy winds followed by torrential rains. The enemies never expected this and could not see clearly what was happening around them. Sumantra came like wind and in the wink of an eye snatched Amara and flew away with him to his place." "Further, he taught him the charms for attaining a charming voice that even the cupid would prefer, curing the snakebites and poisonous effects, overcoming the dangers from wild animals, controlling natural elements like flying against gravity, causing fire, flood, rain, tempest etc and stopping them, curing diseases, and attaining the desired form and shape." "There was a loud laughter. That came from the frog. The frog talked in a human voice."
