About the Book

Marcel Bering was the top ranked Analyst in the German interior intelligence service. Then he felt he needed to see the results of his assessments in the field. Marcel got his wish, a team was formed from three of Europe's agencies. MIT from Turkey sent Kareem Oxzcsan, from Greece the EYP sent Captain Chloe Tsarikis. Of course the beginning was all sunshine and easy assignments, until Peshawar! There everything went awry. Marcel has been involved in a shootout with Pakistan's element of the Taliban. ISI, Pakistan's brutal security police is now searching house to house for the foreigner that killed two of its citizen. This assignment in Peshawar was set up to take, rob four million US dollars from a Hawala dealer. Now this Hawala is the one that arranges his transport out of Peshawar, south to Quetta, from here Marcel will try to walk across the border to the ISAF forces in Kandahar. He is captured on the Afghan side of the border by Balochi rebels and held for ransom. Again he escapes by killing two of his captors. His head fell to the contact with a rifle but, his foot fell victim to a hammer, and his ribs leave a long impression of heavy boots. He takes a horse from his captor and for two weeks he struggles through Afghanistan's winter. His two partners never rest, keep looking for him. When the expert tell Chloe, we believe he is dead, this cold will kill most Europeans. His captors are willing to return him for five million dollars, and were kind enough to send a picture with the ransom demand. His physical damage proof that he is still alive. Where the German "Kommando Kraefte' thier special forces. when asked for assists to find Marcel, replied.. "not our mandate". The Americans kept searching, on the last day of Marcel's willingness to fight the cold and the more than twenty terrorists, his partners find him and the Marines come to help with an Apache helicopter and a dozen marines. The Marine Doctor in Kandahar classified Marcel as damaged goods, the wrap him up and send him home to Germany. There a new leaf in his life is turned over. He learns of the plight of the Hazara and he will take four million dollars back to the man that saved his life in Peshawar. Now he is a freelance agent working a new clandestine area of minor Asia. Pakistan and the smugglers crossings. The tears of the poppy and the weapons and explosives that equip the Taliban and others of the terrorist groups like Din al-cink and the new start up ISIS. A new cause enters his life, the Hazara and Kalash need homes to escape the constant threat of the Islamic extremists. Now it is the time to become a Mercenary also, he must raise money, the big score is he gains access to Pakistan's nuclear program and Iran's new construction in the nuclear uranium refinery in Natanz. The odd rescue effort, a couple of Dutch Missionaries in Pakistan need to get home fast, Two young women are being searched for in Tehran, risky but profitable. Marcel and Oxcsi, his Turkish partner are willing to risk it all, but the thrill is great and even when Marcel ends up with two bullet holes, the Adrenalin rush is not denied. Marcel marries his partner, Chloe Tsarikis, he will have a son so it is a little interruption in a new way of life.
