Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Interkulturelle Pädagogik, Note: 1,3, Universität zu Köln (Institut für Vergleichende Bildungsforschung und Politikwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Rassismuskritik und antirassistische Bildung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Alle Menschen sind frei und gleich an Würde und Rechten geboren.[...]", wurde am 10 Dezember 1948 in der Generalversammlung der Vereinten Nationen in Paris verkündet. Die Artikel der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Menschenrechte von 1948 aller UN- Mitgliedsstaaten sichern jedem Menschen dieser Welt die gleichen Grundrechte zu. Der Umstand, dass nach der Katastrophe des Zweiten Weltkriegs und der Shoah der Nationalsozialisten, die Menschenrechte durch die UNO-Vollversammlung deklariert wurden, hat seine Begründung auch darin, dass Menschenrechte bis dato immer wieder übergangen wurden. Doch Rassismus, Fanatismus und Genozid sind keine rein historischen Ereignisse, sondern aktuell relevant. Auch der Begriff 'Rasse', der in Artikel 2 der Charta der Menschenrechte die Unterscheidung von Menschen auf Grund biologischer Merkmale vornimmt und somit eine angebliche Beseitigung der 'Rassekategorien' unterläuft, zeugt davon, dass Rassifizierung auf institutioneller Ebene genau wie im sozialen Sektor existent ist. In unserer weißen 'toleranten' Mehrheitsgesellschaft sind wir stets bemüht akzeptierend, nicht rassistisch zu sein und 'Fremde' zu integrieren. Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund gehören inzwischen selbstverständlich zu unserer Lebenswelt. Dennoch haben laut gängigen Tageszeitungen zwei dreiundzwanzigjährige 'Albaner, Türken, Marokkaner etc.' einen Kiosk überfallen. Auch alltägliche Begegnungen und Situationen wie die 'polnische' Putzfrau in der Schule, die vor zwanzig Jahren als Diplomingenieurin nach Deutschland kam, oder der 'namibische' Toilettenmann bei MC Donalds, der sich sein Leben in Deutschland anders vorgestellt hat, zeigen wie gängige Klischees und strukturelle sowie institutionelle Rass
