Les modèles basés sur la technologie de la performance humaine (HPT) s'avèrent être des outils plus appropriés pour évaluer et améliorer la performance d'une organisation. De nombreux types de modèles HPT sont disponibles dans la littérature. Le modèle ISPI HPT est largement utilisé pour résoudre les problèmes liés à la performance dans les entreprises. Lemodèle ISPI utilisé dans cette étude est très spécifique aux supermarchés en Inde. L'étude a identifié l'intelligence émotionnelle, la satisfaction professionnelle des employés et la qualité du service de vente au détail comme les principaux facteurs d'amélioration de la performance organisationnelle du supermarché. Lesprincipales interventions telles que la formation des employés de première ligne, la conception du travail, les méthodes de travail, la dotation en personnel, la rémunération et les avantages sociaux et la communication organisationnelle au niveau dumagasin ont également été identifiées dans l'étude.
