Vollendet schön sind ihre jungen Schenkel, Ihr Leib ist weiß und klein, und ihre Brust Strahlt wie das blanke Glänzen eines Spiegels. Sie wendet sich: und reizend starrt ihr Busen. Ihr Blick ist scheu; so blickt wohl die Gazelle, Die sorgenvoll ihr Junges überwacht. Auch ihre Brust ist von Gazellenart, Nur daß die sanfte Brust meiner Geliebten Durch Edelsteine noch verschönert wird. Nachtschwarz sind ihre Haare, und sie fluten Auf ihren Rücken, üppig wie die Dolden Der Dattelfrüchte an den Palmenkronen. Und dieses Haar ist lockig; in den Flechten, Den aufgerollten und den wallenden, Verschwinden ihre Kämme ganz und gar. In sanfter Rundung prangen ihre Hüften, Die zierlichen. Und ihre feinen Beine Sind schlank wie Binsen, die im Wasser stehn. Am späten Morgen steht sie auf. Ein Duft, So wundervoll, als stamm er von Muskat, Umweht ihr Lager. Sie erhebt sich spät, Weil kein Geschäft sie, keine Arbeit zu Besorgen hat. Die Finger ihrer Hände Sind zart und rosig, kleinen Blüten gleich. Ihr Teint besitzt die Farbe eines Eis, Gelegt von einer jungen Straußin, die Nur immer silberklares Wasser trank. Ihr Teint ist ambrafarben.
