About the Book

The world has moved on but not for the better. Upon a desolate and barren wasteland an enigmatic figure wanders. His path, a lonely and severe series of trials, is made the more convoluted by the fateful addition of a boy weighed down with his own secrets. The two trek across the land and are fated to endure more than either can fathom. The Wanderer seeks an evil he does not truly understand, and the boy represents an innocence the years have stolen from the land. The remnants of humanity will be affected by decisions made by the pair. The Wanderer deals in death though he understands fully the importance of life. He sees the future of the world in the boy now in his charge. And he fears for his lifelong quest because a power well beyond him seems to be directing his hand at the most inopportune moments. Set within a vast landscape of varying vistas, Argent is a tale of vengeance, redemption, and love. The man and boy journey through the land and follow a path set before them in hopes of fulfilling a destiny they see through the filtered lens of the supernatural. Old world and new collide as chaos takes hold of the world and all who remain are left to fight for a continued existence in the wake of a still-looming catastrophe. But hope remains. Hope rears its head constantly in the choices of the Wanderer and in the life of the boy. Hope always remains. Argent: Wanderer is the first of two novels telling the story of the Wanderer and his young companion, Evan. It is rife with struggle, action, and the promise of something beyond either of their understanding.
