About the Book

English summary: Arnau de Vilanova was one of the most singular thinkers of this time, producing erudite theological treatises that would bring the criticism and condemnation of the institutional Church on his work after his death. The volume offers first a panorama of Vilanova's exceptional life and thought, followed by French translations of his Catalan treatises - these texts present a clear and concise view of the themes Vilanova developed in his larger body of Latin works.
