La pièce de théâtre raconte le rencontre à Paris entre Astor Piazzolla et le fameux maître de musique française, Nadia Boulanger. Astor commence les étudies avec Nadia, qui lui pose de questions de nature personnelle pour connaitre la personnalité de l´étudiant, pour elle si important comme les habilités techniques. Nadia encourage Astor à composer avec le coeur, à trouver une voix, un style qu´exprime ses vrais sentiments musicaux. Astor ne trouve pas le chemin à suivre. Nadia entraine a Astor avec rigueur dans l´exercice de la composition, les fugues et les contrepoints. Nadia demande d´écouter un de ses tangos. Astor se résiste, mais coincée par Nadia, il joue le tango Triunfal Nadia reste fasciné par le tango d´Astor et lui dit que elle pense qui a écouté le vrai Piazzolla et que lui doit jamais abandonner cette musique. Astor a trouvé son Saint Graal. Une tempête de nouvelle créations se d'éclate. Astor fait utilisation de toutes ses techniques que finalement trouvent son cours. Tous les enseignements fructifient. Astor retrouve son être et avance avec sa musique. Il sera en Argentine ce qui Gershwin a été au Etats-Unis, Bela Bartok en Hongrie et Manuel de Falla a l´Espagne. Un nouveau tango est né. A conséquence du rencontre avec Nadia Boulanger Astor Piazzolla fit la paix avec le tango, accepta ses racines musicales et trouva sa propre voix pour renouveler ainsi la musique populaire argentine. A fur et mesure que le rapport entre Boulanger et Piazzolla se développe, tout les deux font de références aux oeuvres de Astor qui sont joués par une orchestre sur scène et qu´illustrent la évolution musical de Piazzolla a travers le temps. Cette pièce est en somme, une réflexion sur la nature du processus de création, l´importance de trouver un style a soi et sur la importance de la découverte et auto acceptation comme condition d´être pour tous les artistes. Sans Nadia Boulanger, probablement, on n´aurait pas eu le Piazzolla innovateur qui est devenu un personnage de relevance mondial. Dans cette pièce la musique joue un rôle protagoniste au pair des outres personnages. Tous les changements dramatiques au cours le rapport entre Astor et Nadia ont un équivalent au niveau musical. Piazzolla représente le paradigme de l´artiste a la recherche et connaissance de soi même, comme est illustré par son arc comme personnage: Il commence totalement identifié au tango, entre en crise, refuse le tango, le reprend et finalement achève une synthèse surpassant a travers de la création d´un nouveau tango. C´est une trajectoire remarquable qu´le public comprendra et jouira en toute sa dimension.
About the Author: Ingénieur industriel de formation (diplomé de l'Université de Buenos Aires), il a rapidement bifurqué vers d'autres centres d'intérêt. La formation en entreprise au moyen du video, du e-learning ou du théâtre a occupé une grande partie de sa vie professionnelle. Dramaturge depuis quelques années, il est l'auteur de nombreuses pièces de théâtre touchant différents aspects de la société argentine de même que certains mythes historiques de son pays ou du reste du monde.
