"La Escritura Lineal Atlántica (ELA) constituye el testimonio más antiguo en la historia de la humanidad del uso de un sistema de escritura lingüística."

El signario ELA (Escritura Lineal Atlántica) cumple con los tres principios fundamentales de una auténtica escritura glottográfica: 1. Secuencialidad y ordenamiento lógico, 2. Recurrencia de signos, 3. Morfología lineal y esquemática. Y ha superado la prueba fundamental. La más importante: una identificación de signos con fonemas que han permitido traducciones coherentes, lógicas y creíbles, a través de lenguas que pudieron haberse hablado en la región, de acuerdo a la evidencia histórico-epigráfica y genética (ADNmit).

Este libro es una selección de algunos de los numerosos testimonios epigráficos ELA que el autor ha logrado recopilar durante más de veinte años, desde que descubrió la presencia del signario entre los petroglíficos del noroeste de Iberia, y más tarde también en otros lugares de la península y por casi toda las regiones de la costa atlántica europea y africana.

La conclusión del autor de este ensayo es que la Escritura Lineal Atlántica (ELA) constituye el testimonio más antiguo en la historia de la humanidad del uso de un sistema de escritura lingüística.
About the Author: Georgeos Díaz-Montexano (Jorge Díaz). De padres, abuelos, tatarabuelos, y trastatarabuelos (hasta donde ha llegado) españoles (y con un trastarabuelo griego por vía materna), nació en Cuba. Desde 1994 reside en España. En 1995 fundó la revista "Arqueología y Enigmas de la Historia", poco después fundó otras como "Arqueología Sin Fronteras", "ArqueoHistoria", "Canaán: revista de Arqueología Bíblica", y la primera revista de egiptología en castellano de distribución en kioscos y librerías de toda España y América, "La Esfinge. Revista de Egiptología". En el 1999 fundó otra revista: Osiris. Revista de Egiptología. Ha sido autor del primer curso y método sencillo para aprender a leer jeroglíficos egipcios (en lengua castellana), que se vendió por fascículos, como coleccionable, desde 1995 hasta 1998. Desde hace más de quince años investiga la Atlántida. Pero a través de las fuentes históricas, especialmente a través de los antiguos códices, papiros y manuscritos escritos en griego, latín, árabe y egipcio (entre otros lenguajes), de la tradición manuscrita del Timeo y el Critias de Platón, y de todas los antiguos textos que hicieron alguna referencia a la Atlántida, o a los Atlantes. Su gran pasión es pues el estudio del origen de las Antiguas Civilizaciones, así como el origen y evolución del lenguaje, los mitos, y la filosofía.
