Brielle's knight in shining armor knocked on the door, and she answered. Little did she know that he was a murderer and that she was going to be his next victim.
Brielle decided to relocate from Philadelphia to Las Vegas and change careers. This required long hours, late nights, and working with a high-profile clientele. Since she had a traumatic past that she was trying to escape, she felt it was well worth it. Growing up with parents who made her feel like she was never enough, or seen, being bullied, and never feeling comfortable in her own skin, led her down a long path of poor decision-making. Finally, here was a chance for a fresh start, to claim a new life and identity.
When she met Damien, he was the definition of everything she thought she ever wanted and needed in a man. He demonstrated so much affection with compliments, attention calling/texting daily, spending so much quality time, and not to mention the expensive gifts. Brielle endures devastation as she finds out she was manipulated all along. Even more horrifying, she is eventually left for dead, as he turns out to be a killer.
