Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 2,0, SRH Fachhochschule Heidelberg (IWP), Veranstaltung: Theoretische Managementlehre, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der vorliegenden Seminararbeit ist es herauszufinden ob Führungskräfte mit der Rollenverteilung nach Belbin Teams schaffen können die fähig sind, sich im Verlauf eines Projektes selbst zu regulieren. Dabei stellt sich zunächst die Frage was selbstregulierte oder teilautonome Teams ausmacht, welche Vorteile sie Unternehmen bringen und unter welchen Voraussetzungen sie funktionieren können. Die beiden aus der Industriellen Revolution entstammenden Konzepte der (a) Notwendigkeit einer hierarchischen Leitstruktur und (b) Notwendigkeit der Arbeitsteilung wurden viele Jahre als Voraussetzung für die erfolgreiche Führung von Unternehmen gesehen. Seit damals hat sich dieser Fokus stark verschoben. Heutzutage stellt die geteilte Arbeit in Teams einen zentralen Bestandteil in Organisationen dar. Spätestens seit den Neunzigerjahren wird die erfolgreiche Gruppenarbeit auch in deutschen Unternehmen als entscheidender Faktor für Innovation und damit verbundene Wettbewerbsfähigkeit angesehen. Besonders bei modernen, US-amerikanischen Unternehmen kommt im Zusammenhang der Teamarbeit immer öfters das Thema der Selbstregulierung auf. Dabei werden Teams, die fortlaufen an unternehmensinternen Projekten arbeiten, mehr Verantwortung zugesprochen und weniger von außen, wie zum Beispiel durch Führungskräfte kontrolliert. Beim Aufbau solcher Teams kommt den Führungskräften und der gesamten Organisation eine wichtige Rolle zu. Besonders die Schaffung geeigneter Rahmenbedingungen unter denen die Teams gebildet werden, stellen die Verantwortlichen vor große Herausforderungen.
