Dennoch gewinnt das Ausbildungsmarketing auch in Zeiten, in denen die Nachfrage am Arbeitsplatzmarkt größer als das Angebot ist, zunehmend an Bedeutung. Zum einen gewinnt die Rekrutierung und bedarfsgerechte Ausbildung geeigneter Nachwuchskräfte ein immer größeres Gewicht für die Sicherung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Unternehmen. Zum anderen wird Ausbildungsmarketing auf Grund der demografischen Entwicklung wieder an Relevanz gewinnen. Abnehmende Schulabsolventenzahlen sowie stark schwankende Azubi-Neueinstellungen auf der einen und ein immer größer werdender Anteil an älteren Arbeitnehmern auf der anderen Seite machen eine Auseinandersetzung mit Ausbildungsmarketing unumgänglich. In mittelständischen Unternehmen, die ausbilden und in denen es keine Marketingabteilung gibt, wird in Sachen Ausbildungsmarketing wenig bis nichts unternommen. Dies hat zur Folge, dass diese Unternehmen - die in Deutschland die Hauptlast der Ausbildung tragen - bei potentiellen Bewerbern kaum bekannt sind. Meist bewerben sich nur diejenigen, die bei den bekannten größeren Unternehmen abgewiesen wurden. Daraus können dann für die mittelständischen Unternehmen erhebliche Wettbewerbsnachteile entstehen. Aus diesem Grund müssen die Unternehmen ein eigenes herausragendes Profil schaffen. Hierbei werden die Unternehmen im Vorteil sein, die eine gute Ausbildungspolitik vorzuweisen haben und diese im Sinne des Marketing auch kommunizieren. Diese Arbeit soll nun einen Überblick über die Bedeutung des Ausbildungsmarketing geben, Möglichkeiten von Ausbildungsmarketinginstrumenten aufzeigen und Anregungen geben, wie sich ein Unternehmen als attraktiver Ausbilder darstellen kann.
