In Book Two of the Chosen Series the seven chosen go through the Awakening Ceremony but must also deal with the after effects of earthquakes that have claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands and lies that they are struggling to bring to light. Truth cannot hide and the seven must answer the higher call to help save the planet.

Although this series is a progressive saga, this book has been written to be read with or without reading the first book one.

Intro to Chosen Series
IN THE YEAR 2165, there is one world government called the World Consensus, led by the Supreme Leader. The World Consensus operates through regions. The regions are led by Region Leaders who have a history of prominent roles within the partner corporations under UniCorps.

UniCorps is an organization representing the interest of large partner corporations who control most commerce.

The seven regions align with the seven continents. Names were changed for five of the seven continents at the start of the World Consensus to loosen people's obsession with the divisions that had been associated with them. The world would be one nation. Many cities held onto their names, but not all.

The decisions made more than twenty years prior to 2165 to install holes deep within the earth to pump emissions has resulted in fracturing beneath the surface and the release of gases that have destabilized the earth. However, it is not the intention that information that might cause fear or civil unrest be made public. The information is controlled and managed by the World Consensus and UniCorps.

Between fifteen to nineteen years earlier, a breakthrough serum was given to eight babies, in utero. These children were selected to help heal the world from problems forming over millennia. The Chosen have been genetically enhanced to carry out a mission to keep Earth habitable and allow the Unseens to one day return and cohabitate.

The Descendants, a powerful group, have ruled the planet since the beginning. They understand the problems the planet faces and that it is possible the planet may not be able to continue to sustain life. However, they have no intention of giving up their control.

The Chosen, their Keepers, parents, and the Loyalists must work together to fulfill the mission given them by the Council so that Earth can be saved.
