About the Book

Mrs. Pickles is standing next to a plant in her living room. She's holding a watering can and looks to be watering the plant. "What are you doing, Mrs. Pickles?" says a little neighbor girl. "Watering my plants, Gina," replies Mrs. Pickles. "But they're artificial plants," says the little girl with a confused look on her face. "I know, dear," replies Mrs. Pickles. "But it doesn't matter. There's no water in the watering can anyway." You see, Mrs. Pickles is being active. She's doing something. She's working AT watering her plants. But she's not being productive because no plant is actually benefiting from her actions. What about you--is your business benefiting from your actions on a daily basis? Are you being productive? Or just active? Are you working The Business? Or working AT the business? Are you planning your work and working your plan? Or are you just planning your work... and planning your work... and planning your work... and never really getting around to WORKING YOUR PLAN? As I said earlier, not all plans are created equal. The business plan of The Business, for example, is certainly UNEQUAL! Why do I say that? Because the business plan of The Business is designed to create unlimited residual income. Do the work once and get paid over and over again...

About The Author:

Bill Quain is the author of 19 books on Marketing, Personal Success, and Free Enterprise. He has sold more than 2 million copies, and his books are translated into 20 languages. Dr. Quain travels extensively, speaking to audiences of all sizes. Besides the United States, he has been a speaker in China, Canada, The United Kingdom, Mexico, Europe and the Carribean. Dr. Quain was a business professor for more than 25 years. He was named “Outstanding Teaching Professor” by four universities. His students learned more than just theories, as Dr. Quain challenged them with real-life examples. Unlike most faculty members, who taught students to, “Settle for a job, and ask for raises to survive,” he taught his students to create wealth through personal initiative. He wanted to give his students the keys to Financial Freedom. He graduated from Cornell University, Florida International University and the University of New Orleans. Before entering academia, he owned and operated a hotel, was a Food and Beverage Director and an Executive Chef. For many years he has been a business consultant and analyst. Bill Quain began to lose his eyesight to Macular Degeneration at the age of 14. Today, he is legally blind. However, he does not let his condition slow him down. In 2001 he co-created and hosted a PBS television cooking show for the blind called Cooking Without Looking. In 2006 Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin asked him to appear on ABC’s Extreme Makeover, Home Edition. Bill cannot drive a car, but he solved his transportation problems at Florida International University in Miami by kayaking to work for six years. Bill Quain now lives in Ocean City, New Jersey with his wife Jeanne, and two daughters.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
