About the Book

Silina lived a life that every woman dreamed of. She was a successful business owner and she was married to the man of her dreams. She had three beautiful daughters and she and her husband Chief were expecting a baby. She couldn't be any happier with her life. She didn't expect her entire world to come crashing down when she came home early to surprise her husband, only to find that he had been having a secret affair with the last person she'd ever expect. The only thing that Milan was concerned about was getting money, and she didn't care who she hurt along the way. It's all about her and it's her way or no way. In her mind, she was paying her mother for the skeletons that were buried deep in the closet. Once her mission was accomplished, she moved on with her life. When money started getting low, Milan came up with a plan to get her cash flow rolling again. She decided she was going to jump into the drug game and take it over. Things didn't go exactly as planned for her, and she learned that you couldn't run from the past because no matter how far you went, the past always caught up to you one way or another. You could either learn from it, or it could come back and bite you in the ass.
About the Author: Jasmine M. Williams, born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, is a mother of two with a passion for writing. Her knack for writing started in middle school when she and a classmate used to be in competition of who could write the best short stories. Reading the novel "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sista Souljah inspired her to want to write a story of her own. All the obstacles that life threw her way and becoming a mother at an early age didn't deter her dreams; it made her fight harder to make them a reality. She aspires to become a full time author and to see one or more of her books hit the silver screen. While she is writing and being a full time mother, she is also working on getting her Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
