About the Book

A story about a leader who cannot lead by example.

Like Some abstract notions, such as mathematical theorems or philosophical principles, may not display customary behaviors or actions. Although he was the CEO of The National Rifle Association for a long time, he can't even get a clear aim and couldn't care less about gun mechanics or features, and if given the chance, he'd rather sit quietly in a gazebo than aim for an outdoor shooting range.

This book discusses the history of the N.R.A. The National Rifle Association was founded on November 17, 1871, after being granted a charter by the state of New York by Union veterans Col. William C. Church and Gen. George Wingate owing to his men's lack of marksmanship. Isn't it ironic that this has been the case since Wayne was appointed CEO? The NRA was formed to help people learn Marksmanship, but it's now run by individuals who can't even live up to the name.

When the NRA was created, Civil War Gen. Ambrose Burnside, a former governor of Rhode Island and a U.S. senator, was chosen as its first president and this book goes on to discuss Wayne's leadership timeline in the N.R.A. and allegations from New York Attorney General Letitia James that he and three other high-ranking NRA executives undermined the organization's charitable mission through illegal financial conduct, making LaPierre's position as CEO more precarious after the lawsuit. You'll be familiar with Wayne's several lawsuits in this book, ranging from flying private to the Bahamas on N.R.A. money to diverting millions of dollars to himself.

This book also talks about how the N.R.A has had a tremendous impact on American politics, primarily via its affiliation with the Republican Party. Initially, an effective lobbying organization, the NRA has influenced the Republican Party's position on gun rights, minimizing the need for more campaigning. However, the NRA's role in shaping gun-related legislation and influencing Supreme Court composition has been criticized for prioritizing its goals over bipartisan cooperation, resulting in a lack of restrictions on gun purchases and eroding the historical context of gun control in the legal record. Despite its fall in institutional relevance and financial difficulties, the NRA still has tremendous power via its influence on the Republican Party and Supreme Court makeup, among other interesting chapters about the N.R.A scandal.

So waste no time, get your copy of this book right now so you don't miss out!
