About the Book

The third of Baron Charlie Lush's epic five-volume autobiography, this volume covers his four sensational years as a mature student at St Andrews University, the well-publicised petition for the Locock exhumation, the exhibition of his highly-acclaimed paintings in Scotland and New York, his unforgettable appearances on the popular reality-TV show 'Ladette to Lady', his engaging adventures with the longbow, rod and gun and his 'political' skirmishes with the press. By and large, it was certainly one of the most productive periods in 'The Baron's' life but was not without its customary share of problems especially where his encounters with some very colourful and influential women were concerned. Luckily, however, as one door closed, another always seemed to open taking us nicely into volume iv.
About the Author: Born in Carlisle, Cumbria, on Burns Day in 1958, Baron Charlie Lush has led an interesting life full of unusual life-experiences. Originally trained as a musician, he then taught French, Latin and a number of extracurricular activities in the private sector. He has also run a trout fishery and photography, fly-tying and woodturning businesses, has sold menswear in a department store and appeared on two series of the TV show 'Ladette to Lady' as well as taking part in 'Big Brother 11' and Radio 4's 'Today' programme. And in 2000, he matriculated as a mature student at St Andrews University where he graduated with a Joint Honours degree in Art History and Modern History. But much of his life has been devoted to the creative arts and besides hearing his music performed in London hotels and putting on photographic exhibitions, he has also published a number of books with a successful booksigning in Perth in 2000 and exhibited his paintings far and wide including a show in New York. Described as a Neo-Renaissance craftsman, Baron Lush has a number of strings to his bow so perhaps it will come as no surprise to hear that he shot for England as a Scottish captain of a longbow club in Wales in the European Field Archery Championships in 2009!
