About the Book

There is a new lifestyle emerging these years, in which entrepreneurs are working from everywhere, providing value through a variety of channels, while traveling around the world. This life style is called "being a digital nomad". The book is a recap of the last 4 years in which an online entrepreneur decided to detach himself from the traditional way of doing business. He works in coffee shops, travels a few months per year and still make a decent living. It's not a manual, but mainly a chronicle of what it means to be a digital nomad.
About the Author: Dragos Roua defines himself as a "serial online entrepreneur, personal development fanatic, blogger, father, dreamer, risk taker. He also thinks happiness is a process, not a goal." If you wanted to spend just 5 seconds and find out everything about him, the first paragraph should do it. Really, this is how he is. But if you want to go into details, let's take it one at a time. Dragos Roua was born in Romania, in a town called Ramnicu Valcea, in the center of the country. But after he finished high-school, he moved to Bucharest where he stayed to pursue his studies. He finished the University of Bucharest with a degree in French Literature. After that, he worked as a radio host for 7 years. At some point, around his thirties, he decided it's time to start his own company. The founding was easy, even if there was no money around: he used the 3F technique: family, friends and fools. He managed his projects from scratch and in 10 years he become leader on several niches (cars and lifestyle). After going with his company through all the 7 stages of a business, he decided it's time to sell. Which he did, for a profit. After he sold his company, Dragos' new project was his personal development blog at http: //www.dragosroua.com. In a very short time the blog become quite popular, being visited by tens of thousands every month. Many of his books are inspired by articles initially published there.
