Fachbuch aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Der Lehrer / Pädagoge, Note: 1,3, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Psychologie und Pädagogik), Veranstaltung: Biografiemanagement, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Als mir der Begriff Biographiemanagement letztes Jahr bei der Stundenplanerstellung im Vorlesungsverzeichnis begegnete, dachte ich zunächst, kurz gesagt, an Strategien zur Trennung des Privat- und Dienstlebens eines Lehrers. Dass eine Biographie das Innenleben eines Menschen bei der Wiedergabe von Lebensereignissen mit berücksichtigt, war mir klar, ich hatte mir allerdings nie Gedanken um eine genaue Definition gemacht. Meine Meinung war, dass zur Professionalität eines Lehrers, der ja selbst einmal ein Schüler war, gehört, dass er sich bei der Arbeit nicht von den eigenen negativen oder auch positiven Erfahrungen aus seiner Schulzeit beeinflussen lässt. Beziehungsweise, dass er unterscheiden kann, welche dieser Erfahrungen ihn wirklich weiterbringen und sinnvoll sind und welche nicht. Ansonsten läuft er Gefahr, emotional und nicht rational zu handeln. Ich stellte mir vor, dass wir als angehende Lehrer im Seminar lernen, eigene Erlebnisse angemessen zu verarbeiten und eine objektive Haltung gegenüber allen Menschen und Situationen, die uns während des Berufslebens begegnen, einzunehmen. Den Anglizismus "Management", der mich in diesem schulpädagogischen Kontext überraschte, verstand ich als eine Art Ordnung und Verwaltung. Das Kompositum Biographiemanagement bedeutete für mich also: Lerne mit deiner eigenen Lebensgeschichte richtig umzugehen. Insgesamt erwartete ich also eine eher vergangenheitsorientierte Durchleuchtung der eigenen Biographie. Alles Weitere ließ ich auf mich zukommen. Es handelte sich bei diesem Blockseminar um das erste Seminar, das ich im Rahmen meines erziehungswissenschaftlichen Studiums besuchte.
