Pareciera que existe en la causa primera, una fuente más antigua de símbolos cercana al fuego y al agua de vida, concepto próximo al simbolismo coránico del agua del mundo árabe. El pensamiento simbólico de los primeros pueblos indoeuropeos veían en muchas deidades la manifestación de fuegos primigenios y el manantial de lo simbólico, cierta unión donde los opuestos dejan de mostrarse a través del teatro de las manifestaciones, para perderse en la unidad.El hombre necesita comprender qué es el simbolismo, porque sin esta comprensión no puede ahondar en su interior y mirarse, siendo el mismo un símbolo central de lo terrenal, en un universo sin escala y sin tiempo. Es nuestro deber descubrir nuestra interioridad simbólica, el propósito de este libro es traer al lector diferentes interpretaciones de logos, deidades y religiones cuya expresión simbólica tuvo su génesis en la arquitectura. Muchas de las deidades indo-europeas en su esencia eran retratadas como formas abstractas y números, en una búsqueda de aprender matemáticas y geometrías asociadas a lo universal.Un ejemplo de esto es el culto a Apolo que era adorado en Delfos como un cubo, o el dios Min en Egipto, una de las deidades más antiguas del mundo, que representaba para aquel ideario no solo números, sino también la primera regla de albañil, centro de religiones fuertemente arraigadas en lo arquitec-tónico. En su brazo estaba representado el codo sagrado egipcio, regla o modulor sobre el cual se organizó el espacio a convertir en sagrado.El universo para estos pueblos personificaba una colina fundamental, rodeada de una masa de agua salada coronada por un símbolo con forma de rueda de alfarero, y en cuya cúspide se encontraba un cubo filosofal, el espacio más sagrado o casa de Horus. Para muchas culturas del mundo como la hindú o la cherokeé en norte América, el mundo estaba sostenido por una tortuga cuya caparazón poseía dibujos de lados hexagonales, al igual que muchos de los arboles de la vida del mundo indoeuropeo, como el árbol "Fu-sang" en China. Este libro recorre una serie de eventos y mitologías asociadas al arte de la construcción, desde el simbolismo universal de los puntos cardinales y el círculo de la tierra, hasta el templo de Jerusalén y su creador el Rey Salomón, pasando por simbolismos numéricos, el simbolismo coránico del agua, el de la mezquita, la cúpula y la catedral, todos estos símbolos dotados de su herencia primordial e infinita.
