Ein theoretisches Konstrukt leitet die inhaltsbezogenen Ausführungen in Kapitel 2 ein, in dem das Grundwissen zu Big Data und Künstlicher Intelligenz erläutert wird. Darüber hinaus wird die Eignung für das Marketing in Kapitel 3 dargestellt und mit Experteninterviews untermauert. Die Auswertung soll einen Überblick über Herausforderungen, Chancen und Realisierungsmöglichkeiten für KMU aufzeigen. Mit einer SWOT-Analyse wird sowohl ein Überblick als auch ein Ausblick zu den Ergebnissen geschaffen.
