About the Author: Russ Guthrie served for 23 years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring honorably, with multiple decorations, in 2005. During his time in the military, Russ trained and supervised hundreds of personnel and learned a great deal about leadership, service, teamwork, specialization and quality. While active duty, Russ traveled to many countries around the world, including China, Egypt and Zimbabwe. He also was stationed at bases in Holland, Turkey and South Korea. Several years prior to his military retirement, Russ was introduced to the idea of home-based business and network marketing. And while network marketing wasn't the the right fit for him, the experience really got his entrepreneurial juices flowing. So, after retiring from the Air Force, Russ began a new career in internet marketing. And from there, after several years of online education, he decided to meld his prior Air Force experience with this new set of skills and understanding. Combining leadership, accountability, service and teamwork, he began his new company, Response Performance Marketing (RPM). This company is a direct response marketing firm specializing in getting new and existing brick and mortar businesses a vibrant and profitable online presence. RPM uses a staged process to take small businesses from one level of marketing and growth to another, in a logical, systematic and proven way. RPM also works with companies who have an online presence, but wish to increase their rankings, improve their site, etc.
