Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Musik - Sonstiges, Note: 1,0, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ich betrete eine Schule. Auf dem Weg zum Musikzimmer kommen mir merkwürdig bekannte Klänge entgegen, ich meine, einen Bach-Choral zu hören. Beim Öffnen der Tür stehe ich einer fünften Klasse gegenüber, die gerade Musikunterricht hat. Dazu sitzen die Schülerinnen und Schüler aber nicht an den gewohnten Tischen, sondern haben Blasinstrumente in den Händen und sitzen in einer richtigen Orchesterbesetzung. Ja, dies hier sei die 'Bläserklasse', wird auf mein Nachfragen geantwortet. Der Musiklehrer dirigiert die Klasse - nach dem Ende des Chorals erklärt der Musiklehrer, heute ein den Schülern bereits bekanntes Stück, "Rock-A-Saurus-Rex" wiederholen zu wollen. Die Schüler sind begeistert und spielen einen rockigen Titel mit viel Energie und Rhythmus. Wird hier der ideale Musikunterricht erteilt; sind hier die Vorstellungen der Musikpädagogik von einem praxisorientierten Musikunterricht, der die Schüler begeistert, verwirklicht worden. So oder so ähnlich lassen sich die ersten Gefühle beschreiben, wenn man der 'Bläserklasse' erstmalig begegnet. Nach dem ersten Überschwang tauchen Fragen in viel-fältiger Form auf. Was wird hier eigentlich vermittelt? Sind die Inhalte des Musikunterrichts auf musizierpraktischem Weg zu vermitteln? Was sind überhaupt Inhalte - was ist musikalische Bildung? Der Musikunterricht an allgemeinbildenden Schulen hat in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten grundlegende konzeptionelle Veränderungen erlebt. Von einer am Kunstwerk orientierten Didaktik und einer hauptsächlich vokal ausgerichteten Musikpraxis hat man sich (zumindest theoretisch) zu Gunsten eines handlungsorientierten, kulturerschließenden Musikunterrichts mit vielfältigen methodischen Zugängen abgewendet. Diese Entwicklung ist längst nicht abgeschlossen, wie die unterschiedlichen Modelle einer Integration praktischen Musizierens in den Unterricht zeig
