About the Book

Nos encontramos ante una recopilación muy cuidada de los mejores versos y prosas de Alexandre Vallejo, aquel viajero incansable de la vida que ha plasmado en sus libros las experiencias y aprendizajes más profundos del alma humana.

En "Brújula interna" convergen fragmentos selectos de sus 4 obras publicadas: "Notas en el camino", "Notas en el camino - In Crescendo", "Notas en el camino - Nigredo" y "El libro blanco de los deseos". Cada una de estas piezas está analizada, comentada e interpretada para el ávido lector, tanto desde el propio autor como desde la labor reflexiva de una colaboradora de esta edición: Elisa García.

Cada poesía, cada reflexión, es una brújula que nos invita a la introspección, a conectar con nuestro mundo interior y encontrar, en él, un faro que ilumine nuestro caminar.

Los textos que conforman esta obra beben de fuentes de la lírica universal, entroncando, especialmente, con la tradición poética de exaltación de la belleza y la introspección, la poesía medieval provenzal y la lírica trovadoresca.

Por la impronta romántica en tono intimista y la musicalidad del verso se remite a poetas del siglo XIX como Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, José Asunción Silva o Arthur Rimbaud.

La búsqueda de trascendencia también conecta al misticismo de San Juan de la Cruz y la imaginación visionaria de William Blake.

La delicadeza en la aproximación a los grandes temas existenciales revela la admiración por la sensibilidad de Rainer María Rilke y sus elegías al amor y la muerte. El uso del lenguaje, como exploración del yo, sigue la senda del modernismo de Rubén Darío.

Por otro lado, por el lirismo, la musicalidad y la temática nostálgica, existe una gran inspiración en las obras de Julio Herrera y Reissig y de José Asunción Da Silva.

En los textos en prosa se entrevé la concisión reflexiva de filósofos como Friedrich Nietzsche, Søren Kierkegaard y Albert Camus, así como la profundidad conceptual de Octavio Paz.

La nostalgia y la melancolía remiten al tono de Alejandra Pizarnik, Juana de Ibarbourou e Idea Vilariño.
