About the Author: Janete Franco Barringer is a therapeutic massage practitioner certified by the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork. Barringer developed Brazilian chakras reflexology in 2009. In 2016, she competed in the World's Best Massage Therapists Contest, an event sponsored by the World Massage Therapists Association. Brazilian chakras reflexology and Brazilian palmistry massage, both developed by Barringer, qualified for the contest due to their unique and innovative natures.
A founder and president of the Spiritist Society of the Carolinas, Barringer is the producer of Spiritism Today, the first spiritist show to air on US television. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband Darryl and her daughter Bruna-Paula.
