For the first time in over a millennium, the magic sustaining the Dragon and the Pact is in flux, as the cycle of sacrifice has come around to completion once more. If Martin can learn the Dragon's weakness, Aachen can be spared another millennium of bloody tyranny. However, forces eldritch and political are moving to abolish the Pact prematurely, which could unleash a greater evil upon an unsuspecting world.
About the Author: Lee McIlmoyle has been writing fiction in obscurity for almost three weeks, and resents that he will never get that time back. He may also have watched too much late night television in his teens and twenties, which may be directly related to that aforementioned obscurity. He holds no degrees in literature, history or science, and has never worked for the Hydro-Electric company, though he did briedfly do janitorial work for the local waterworks. He currently prostitutes himself as a graphic designer of no repute. Lee enjoys solitaire mahjong, making quiche, and nude skydiving. He currently resides in Limbo, a suburb of Hamilton, Ontario, with his wife, a small hareem of oil-covered slaves bound with hemp rope into interesting (and very comfortable) furniture shapes, and their pride of feral mini-panthers. Lee is hard at work on his new novel, a sixteen-part epic historical fiction set during the Drug Zombie Uprisings of the 2020s.
