About the Author: Apart from fiction, Ned White has written for public and commercial television -- both documentary and drama -- including an ACE-award nominated movie for HBO. He has written several musical plays for young adults, all produced. He has also constructed crossword puzzles for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and other publications, and writes scripts and other media for corporations and organizations. He writes a weekly blog for the Bangor Daily News in Maine on food, travel, humor, science, and other matters, "Journeys over a Hot Stove." After years of living in Taos, New Mexico and Atlanta, Georgia, he and his wife Carla (who designed this book) now reside happily on the banks of the Weskeag River in South Thomaston, Maine.
