About the Book

Do you need cataract surgery? If so, you're not alone. Each year, three million Americans undergo cataract removal procedures. Even so, you may find yourself feeling anxious about having surgery performed on your eyes. The authors are experienced surgeons who together have performed more than 10,000 cataract surgeries. They understand your concerns. In this book they answer questions such as: Should I wait to have my cataracts removed? How is the surgery performed? How is a new lens implanted in the eye? Does the procedure hurt? Learn how cataract surgery may offer you the best vision you have ever had.
