About the Author: E.R.(flip) Flippen novels feature people in intricate plots living and loving in yesterday's settings. Sex was a difficult pathway to navigate before birth control pills, nevertheless his readers do not envy the hook-up generation. CATTLE CALL and IVY are westerns and DAN PATCH is a WWII love story. E.R. (flip) Flippen has celebrated fifty years in the practice of Pharmacy. Earning his degree at the University of Houston, it was necessary to take a course in English Literature, and he developed a keen interest in writing. He is currently working on his memoir. His other interests are medicine, working dogs, and fishing. His love for fishing has led him to fish for salmon in Alaska, tuna in Hawaii, sailfish in Mexico, tarpon in Key West, and speckled trout wherever he could find them.
