In the next section, readers learn about the history and succession of liberty in process and action from ancient to modern times-the ideologies of various governments; the governmental influence of the early church and the Reformation; and, eventually, the founding of the United States and the expansion and erosion of American government.
This book will help you understand the principles and history of liberty that have enabled individuals to enjoy the personal liberties of today. It will equip the reader to understand, restore, and preserve them.
About the Author: The mother of five sons, author Jayme MacCullough began homeschooling with her firstborn. Eventually, she became dissatisfied with the content she had for teaching American history. This prompted her to begin attending seminars and workshops centered on understanding the foundations and history of the United States. Studying primary-source documents on how the nation's founders were educated, she developed her own curriculum covering multiple subjects applicable to all grade levels. In 2008 she launched Pathway to Liberty, a teaching institute dedicated to educating individuals in the principles of liberty.
Earning her bachelor's in criminology with a minor in psychology from Florida State University, MacCullough worked on her master's in counseling rehabilitation at both the University of South Florida and Liberty University.
Over the years, MacCullough has also written and led women's Bible studies, prayer rallies, educational seminars, and conferences. She has been involved with numerous organizations, such as MOPS, Aglow International, and Just Give Me Jesus with Anne Graham Lotz, among others.
