About the Book

Our girl Georgia...Always in a pickle and always ready for a fight, just not at tea time. She is Professor Georgia Challenger, the greatest physicist to ever live, and the old girl is not afraid to say it's so, straight to your face. Georgia has perceived a great danger in the goals of the ruthless mercenary Kane Bashkar. So she sets out put the bag on this malefactor. With the help of her sister, our Lady Claudette Roxton, and her foster daughter Joan dARK, Professor Challenger takes to the field of battle employing her massive walker mecha troop, built in her own hand. Yes she has allowed something slip her mind...Professor Georgia Challenger has a second foster daughter, the Untamed Jungle Beauty Victoria, and the girl has run off on a mad and impossible mission to save her native people from poverty, degeneracy, and outright famine. Young Victoria is sent off by the tribal shaman to retrieve a collection of artifacts, the icons of the holy snow queen, else her people will never again know the blessings of their gods. No body even knows where to look for the lost icons, and they can only be found with the help of people who probably don't exist. It's difficult tasks all around. To be reunited with her lost daughter, Professor Challenger must find and employ for herself the most terrible artifacts, and her girl Victoria must travel where all men fear to tread. Any help that's to be had can only come from the must unexpected sources, and everyone must struggle with what must be done to achieve their goals. These are dire circumstances they cannot ignore. This is not just a story of heroines compelled to look into the Abyss as it also looks into them, in this tale to overcome and reach victory, some find they must make the head long leap. Then just when it seems all the worst is behind them the most unwelcome of trespassers are found about. As always, Professor Georgia Challenger will make her best efforts to have the family home in time for tea and biscuits.
