Angesichts der Herausforderungen gesellschaftlichen Wandels sind Bildungs- stitutionen aufgefordert, unter Mobilisierung organisationseigener Ressourcen Schulentwicklung zu betreiben. Nikolaus Schröck unternimmt die t- oretische Verortung des Steuergruppenkonzeptes sowie die empirische Unter- chung der Orientierungen von Steuergruppenmitgliedern. Die systematische Qualitätsentwicklung der Einzelschule impliziert eine mik- politische Sicht auf Bildungsinstitutionen, die sich als lernende Einrichtungen auf der Basis eigener Ressourcen weiterentwickeln sollen. Im Sinne einer gete- ten Führungsverantwortung sind nicht nur Schulleitungen, sondern auch das mittlere Management aufgefordert, schulischen Wandel zu gestalten. In der de- schen Schulberatung gilt die Einrichtung von Steuergruppen als probates Mittel einer Gestaltung lernender Schulen. Die Aufgaben der Steuergruppen sind k- plex und überlappen sich mit Tätigkeitsfeldern der Schulleitung. Die Schulbe- tungsliteratur ist breit angelegt, doch liegen nur wenige Forschungsergebnisse zu Modellen einer shared leadership vor. Vor allem der Steuergruppenansatz ist - zulänglich erforscht. Evaluationsforschung weist jedoch bereits auf Spannun- felder geteilter Führungsverantwortung. Theorieofferten, die heterogenen Th- riehorizonten entstammen, implizieren strukturelle Ungereimtheiten, die für Change Agents schwierige Ausgangsbedingungen bedeuten.
About the Author: Nikolaus Schröck promovierte bei Prof. Dr. Sibylle Rahm am Lehrstuhl für Schulpädagogik der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Er ist dort akademischer Direktor.
