Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Geschichte Europas - Neuzeit, Absolutismus, Industrialisierung, Note: 1,7, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit soll der Versuch unternommen werden, zu prüfen, ob die Möglichkeit einer Neubewertung der ideengeschichtlichen Position Fouriers (F) besteht. Dass die Beschäftigung mit der Rezeption und Wirkung Fs dabei von zentraler Bedeutung sein muss, liegt auf der Hand und ist einer der Gründe für den epochenübergreifenden Charakter der Arbeit. Zudem ist die Fourierologie ein interdisziplinäres Forschungsfeld. [...] Um alle diese Aspekte bearbeiten zu können, soll zunächst die Person Fs vorgestellt werden. Biographische Besonderheiten können hier zum Verständnis seiner Theorien von Bedeutung sein, weshalb erste Analyseansätze schon im zweiten Kapitel zu Fs Biographie erscheinen werden. Im dritten Kapitel sollen dann seine Theorien in Bezug zur Ideengeschichte des 19. Jahrhunderts gesetzt werden, wobei einerseits die ökonomische und andererseits die politische bzw. öffentlich-rechtliche Dimension und lebensweltliche Faktoren berücksichtigt werden sollen. Wie angedeutet verweist dieser Themenkreis bereits auf die Rezeptionsgeschichte und auf wissenschaftstheoretische Zusammenhänge. Während die verschiedenen Bezüge zu den Zeitumständen Fs im Rahmen des ideengeschichtlichen Teils in gesonderten Teilkapiteln untersucht werden, wird der Rezeption der Ideen Fs das vierte Kapitel gewidmet. Es ist dabei in fünf Unterkapitel eingeteilt, die jeweils die unterschiedlichen Ebenen seiner Theorie repräsentieren: Erstens die politische Ökonomie, zweitens ökologische Aspekte, drittens Fs Kulturkritik, viertens wissenschafts-theoretische Fragen und schließlich die Ebene der Rezeption in der Bevölkerung, also die praktische Ebene. Die allgemeinen Rahmenbedingungen des Lebens Fs, also die politischen, kulturellen und sozioökonomischen Zustände in Frankreich um 1800 verweisen wiederum auf die Rezeptionsg
