This journal has been created By Miss Nicky, an early years specialist, to give children the opportunity to learn healthy habits from an early age, setting the foundation for a happier, healthier life. It provides a safe space for children to express their feelings and experiences whilst promoting open communication and building trust with their caregivers.
The journal helps children:
Develop self-awareness and emotional understanding
Establish and maintain healthy habits from an early age
Build a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem
Improve communication with caregivers and peers
Foster independence and self-discipline
This journal is ideal for children aged 2 and above. It is designed to be flexible:
2-5 years old: Use with adult support.
6-8 years old: Can take the lead with some adult assistance.
9 years and older: Can complete independently
By using the journal and incorporating positive actions into routines it helps children internalise these habits early on, making it easier for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle as they grow.
