About the Author: Born in Western Ukraine, Boris J. Kurland studied at the Kazan University's Department of Microbiology. He immigrated to Israel in 1974, and holds a PhD in clinical microbiology from the Union Institute and University at Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kurland is the author of the novel The Bike, published in Germany in 2014. The Chippendale was originally published in Russian in 2013.
In addition to his novels, Kurland has published short stories in online and printed journals internationally. A member of the International Guild of Writers, he has won literary contests in Germany, Russia, and Austria.
