Create your very own version of 1900, or the Last President by Ingersoll Lockwood!
On election night 1896, riots broke out in New York after an unlikely president was elected. The city was paralyzed by fear. Mobs organized under the Anarchist and Socialist banners. People in the south celebrated this president, who fought for the rights of the people as a president elected by the working class.
In a society where socialist ideologies are absorbed, can this president succeed in eradicating the enslavement of the people by money lenders, giant corporations, and banks? This president fought for the rights of the working class, but sadly, his agenda was quickly met with opposition. He was ultimately unable to pass any of his reforms and was ultimately removed from office. This serves as a stark reminder of the difficult obstacles that face those who are determined to fight for the rights of the working class.
