Color your very own version of A Group of Noble Dames by Thomas Hardy!
There are a number of short stories in Thomas Hardy's collection A Group of Noble Dames. Each of the ten members of the club tells a story about a noble dame from the 17th or 18th century within the framework of a frame narrative. Before Hardy collected the stories into a book, all ten stories appeared in serial magazines.
The stories in the collection are all set in different time periods and locations. They explore themes of love, loyalty, and duty, and feature a variety of female characters. Hardy's stories have been praised for their wit and insight.
