About the Author: Debatosh Guha is Professor at the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, India. He is also associated with the department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and served as HAL Chair Professor. Professor Guha is Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), The National Academy of Science Indian (NASI), and West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology (WAST). He has published over 200 papers in top journals and conferences and a book entitled 'Microstrip and Printed Antennas: New Trends, Techniques and Applications' Wiley, UK, 2011.
He has developed novel antennas for a North American wireless industry, which have been commercial product (Z1900) since 2007. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and recipient of some prestigious awards which include Raj Mittra Travel Grant Award of IEEE AP-Society, Chicago 2012; URSI Young Scientist Award, Lille, France1996; and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Prize, India, 1984. He is now an Associate Editor of IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters. He has served IEEE Kolkata Section as the Chair (2013-2014) and Vice-Chair (2011-2012). He also served IEEE AP-MTT Kolkata Chapter as the Founding Chair (2004), Vice-Chair (2007-2009), and Chair (2010-2011).
Himadri Sekhar Dutta received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kalyani Government Enginerring College, Kalyani, India in 2001, M.Tech. degree in Optics and Opto-Electronics from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India in 2003 and Ph. D. in Technology from Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, Kolkata, India in 2012 respectively. He is presently working as Assistant Professor at ECE Department of Kalyani Government Engineering College, Kalyani. He is an executive committee member of IEEE Photonics Society and IEEE Gold Affinity Group and actively participate in different activities conducted by IEEE. His research areas include Opto-electronic Devices, Medical Image Processing and Embedded Systems. He has published more than twenty five research papers in various journals and conferences and also reviewed several papers for journals and international conferences.
Badal Chakraborty received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology; Agartala, India in 1998. He obtained his Master's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Ph.D. (Tech) in Instrumentation and Measurement from University of Calcutta in 2000 and 2009 respectively. Recipient of DBT, Govt. of India fellowship for perusing post doctoral research in 2009. He completed his Post Doctoral work on Biomedical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science; Bangalore, India in 2010. He was working as a faculty member in Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology from 2000 to 2005. He is currently faculty member of Department of Post Harvest Engineering, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidayalaya, India. He is life member of Indian Society of Technical Education.His research interest includes Sensors, Measurement, Biomedical Instrumentation and Application of electronics in agricultural fields. Dr.Chakraborty published more than 30 research papers in international and national journals. He is reviewer of many international journals.
