About the Book

Computing Love, a visionary novel inspired by A Course in Miracles, tells the story of a scientist, Kyle Williams, who is transformed by visitations and guidance from two spiritual mentors. They invade his dreams, his home and his life, then set him on a path he cannot understand, declaring life itself is an illusion. They send Kyle on a journey so incredible it forces him to question everything he ever thought he knew, including the very meaning of life and humanity's place in the universe.
Kyle is building the world's first quantum super computer, intending it will solve problems-war, crime, hatreds, poverty-that have plagued human society for centuries. He understands the immense power a quantum computer can bestow upon its owners and fears the worst. In the wrong hands, bad actors can use such a machine to inflict irrevocable harm on humanity. He becomes obsessed with being not only the first to bring a quantum computer to life. He hatches a plan to build a machine so powerful it will outperform and dominate all others. And, most important, he insists his machine be used only for peaceful purposes that benefit all humanity.
He and his team struggle against forces that want to condemn his work to the ash bin of science, even as Kyle strives to learn how he might "reboot" the mind of humanity and bring love into the world.
Filled with romance, death and love in its many incarnations, Computing Love celebrates the creative imagination and the inconceivable power of love. Set in the 2030s, it brushes against the edges of science fiction while exploring spirituality and the deepest levels of the human mind. Like the timeless wisdom that inspired it, Computing Love illuminates our world of duality and shows that love is the only creative force in the universe.
About the Author: Allan began writing in the 1960s, then became engrossed with metaphysics and spirituality in the 70's. By 2000 he had discovered A Course in Miracles in 2000. It became his guide to living and writing, the inspiration for the stories he writes. As a technical writer and editor in the medical electronics industry, then later, as a freelance writer, Ramsay authored more than 500 non-fiction articles, white papers, video scripts, manuals, brochures and other material that's been published in print and on the web. In 2012 he turned his attention to fiction. Computing Love is his debut novel. It's a psychological thriller filled with provocative characters who struggle to overcome perils brought on by the greatest threat of all...the deadly predilections of fellow humans. Allan is a member of the Visionary Fiction Alliance. His upcoming second novel, Five Years Living Naked, explores the dilemma that having a body poses to Josh Oakley, a 20-something man struggling to survive the two forces that collide and command his life-sometimes pushing him toward fear and chaos, at other times transporting him into joy and peace. Allan lives in Port Saint Lucie, Florida with his wife Becky, an artist and writer.
