About the Author: Rick Kelly graduated from Trinity University, San Antonio TX, with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Minor in Marketing. His original marketing internship was with the headquarters of Fuddruckers hamburger chain restaurant, with a subsequent internship with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC. His first professional marketing job started with the Tampa Bay performing Arts Center, where clients like the Prague Symphony and the traveling production of Les Miserable performed to sold-out houses. After a year long stint with fundraising for PBS, Rick moved to Toronto, Canada where he helped launch marketing campaigns for many nationally know arts organizations as the communications director of Artsmarketing Inc. When an opportunity came to work as the business manager for a production company in Miami Beach, he moved there and worked with Ogilvy & Mather to produce television commercials for such clients as Procter & Gamble, General Foods, and Budweiser. Currently, Rick Kelly writes Internet copy for such clients as the American Kennel Club, the Irish Golf Association, Maytag, Wal-Mart, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Hawaiian Tourist Board, as well as many regional businesses.
