About the Book

Un buen entendimiento y enseñanzas sólidas apropiadas en el campo práctico concerniente al estado espiritual y moral de un cristiano no son claras en muchas iglesias cristianas. Cuando alguien entrega su vida y su alma a Dios a través de la fe en Cristo, es justificado por Dios el Padre. En este punto de su vida, adquiere un "estado" y no una "condición" en Cristo. Este estado con Dios lo convierte en un "santo" porque no tiene pecado debido al sacrificio de Cristo en la cruz; de ahí en adelante tiene acceso directo a Dien en Cristo. Es un estado permanente. Por lo tanto, la iglesia debe fortalecer en él y a su alrededor ese estado que es el resultado de su justificación. ¿Es bien entendido este estado hoy por el 90% de los cristianos y de las comunidades? Imagínense que todo cristiano y todos los que lo conocen lo conocen y lo consideran en este estado que ha adquirido con Dios en Cristo, ¿qué clase de persona sería?
Esta afirmación divina, que se hace personal y comunitaria, haciendo a todos los miembros justificados del sacerdocio universal, es el principio fundamental del congregacionalismo, que nació en los Estados Unidos en 1620.
La doctrina del sacerdocio universal es sólo el resultado de la justificación. Si cada cristiano realmente entendiera que es un sacerdote porque está justificado por Dios y que su vida es vivir para servir y adorar a Dios como un levita, todos entenderían que son una clase de sacerdotes. No hablaríamos de una jerarquía dentro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo.
El sistema congregacionalista, debido a sus buenas enseñanzas sobre estos dos fundamentos de la Reforma Protestante de 1517, los convierte en aplicaciones prácticas a nivel de la Iglesia de Cristo, dando a los seres salvos la oportunidad de vivir las vidas de los santificados en la adoración y el servicio de Dios.

Este libro presenta paso a paso cómo los creyentes que han sido justificados por Dios debido a su fe en Cristo, se reúnen para servir y adorar a su Dios. Cuando se reúnen, saben que Jesucristo está en medio de ellos, como dice Mateo 18:20. Cristo se convierte en la Cabeza de su iglesia particular.

Como sacerdote, cada uno se reconoce miembro del mismo cuerpo, que es la Iglesia. Todos miran a la Biblia como la Palabra de Dios, al Espíritu Santo como su guía, y al pacto que han establecido juntos para vincularse unos a otros, y a Dios como una prenda de la clase de vida cristiana que juran vivir
