When Sean Winslow's wife, Rachel, stepped out on him one too many times, the last thing he ever expected was for two other women to step into his life, giving him a trio of options for his future. But if this thirty-six-year-old African American entrepreneur is to find true love with any one of them, he's got to first come to terms with his feelings for all three, as well as with their pasts...and his own.
Will Sean be able to mend fences with Rachel? Or will his ex, Zara, regain his affection when his defenses are down? What about the third girl-Alanya? Will her flirty, feisty personality and stunning looks win him over? Or will Sean end up alone, with a broken heart and three tattered connections?
Connections is an intense and insightful work of urban fiction that takes a candid look at romance, love at first sight, and how we sometimes let our pride get in the way of finding happiness and true love. An incredibly real and entirely relatable piece, it tells a tale readers can easily identify with and speaks volumes on real issues that plague real people, such as intimacy, infidelity, and insecurity.
