About the Author:

Nicolas Stahlhofer hat einen Master-Abschluss in International Business und einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Wirtschaftspsychologie. Während seiner akademischen Laufbahn studierte er im Ausland an der University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) sowie am City College of San Francisco (CCSF). Zwischen seinen Abschlüssen arbeitete er für eine internationale Versicherung in Singapur und eine Personalberatung in München. Seine Leidenschaft für Unternehmertum, Innovation und Finanzen führte ihn zu seiner jetzigen Position als Strategy Transformation Consultant bei dem japanischen Unternehmen NTT DATA. Sein bewusster Umgang mit Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft spiegelt sich in seiner täglichen Arbeit wider, indem er seine Kunden dabei unterstützt, ihre Geschäftsmodelle und Strategien zielgerichtet zu transformieren.

Prof. Dr. Schmidkonz hat ein Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften von der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München. Er studierte zwei Jahre Chinesisch an der Fu Jen Universität in Taiwan und ist Alumnus des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes (DAAD). Von 1998-2001 arbeitete Prof. Schmidkonz am ifo Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung mit dem Schwerpunkt Forschung und Beratung in China. Anschließend war er bei der internationalen Unternehmensberatung Capgemini als Senior Consultant im Bereich Telekommunikation und Internet tätig. Im Jahr 2008 gewann er den vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie ausgeschriebenen Gründungswettbewerb "Multimedia". Seit 2009 lehrt er als Professor und Akademischer Direktor für International Business an der Munich Business School. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen auf chinaspezifischen Themen sowie dem "Erfolgsfaktor Glück" und "Conscious Business".

Prof. Dr. Patricia Kraft hat Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Marketing, strategisches Management und Statistik studiert und im Bereich des internationalen Marketings an der Universität Regensburg und der University of Colorado, USA, promoviert. Während ihrer Promotion war sie maßgeblich an der Einführung von drei neuen Studiengängen im Rahmen des bayerischen Elitenetzwerks beteiligt. Nach langjähriger Berufspraxis und Führungstätigkeit in den Bereichen Marketing und strategisches Management in der Investitionsgüterindustrie und im Finanzdienstleistungsbereich lehrt sie heute an verschiedenen Fachhochschulen die Themenbereiche Strategie, Marketing und Kommunikation. Seit 2014 ist sie Professorin an der Munich Business School und seit 2016 Akademische Leiterin des Bachelor-Studiengangs International Business. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte und Unternehmensberatungstätigkeiten liegen in den Bereichen internationales Marketing, Digitalisierung und nachhaltige Unternehmensthemen.
