About the Author: MATTHEW ALLEN is Lecturer in Organization Studies at Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester. JOSEPH AMANKWAH-AMOAH is a PhD candidate at Swansea University, UK. ARILD ASPELUND, PhD, is currently Associate Professor of Marketing at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. MAGNE SIVERT BERG graduated from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2005 with a Master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management. OLIVER BORCHERT is a PhD candidate at the University of Strathclyde, UK TREVOR BUCK is Professor of International Business at Loughborough University Business School, U.K., specialising in transition economies (especially China) and international corporate governance, particularly executive pay. YI-YING CHANG (PhD) is Lecturer in Management, Dundee Business School, University of Abertay Dundee, UK. GARY COOK is Senior Lecturer in Applied Economics and Director of Undergraduate Programmes at the University of Liverpool Management School. BRIAN COOPER (PhD, La Trobe University) is Research Fellow in the Department of Management, Monash University, Australia. Brian is also a Lecturer in management research methods. OU DAI is a PhD student in International Business at Loughborough University Business School, U.K. He received his MSc degree in Entrepreneurship from Bristol University. SHEENA DAVIES is Senior Lecturer in strategic management at Portsmouth Business School. She also teaches international strategy. YAW A. DEBRAH is. Professor of Human Resources and International Management at Swansea University (University of Wales). Yaw has held academic positions at Brunel University, UK, Cardiff University (University of Wales), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. DESPOINA FILIOU is Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, Centre for International Business Innovation. MIKA GABRIELSSON, D.Sc.(Econ.), is Professor of International Business at the Helsinki School of Economics, Finland. PETER GABRIELSSON, D.Sc.(Econ.), is Professor of International Marketing at the University of Vaasa, and Adjunct Professor of International Business, Helsinki School of Economics, Finland. SOUGAND GOLESORKHI is Senior Lecturer in International Business at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, Centre for International Business and Innovation. JUSSI HÄTÖNEN is finalising his doctoral thesis on management of outsourcing processes in high technology firms at the Turku School of Economics, Finland. ANDREAS HOECHT (PhD) is Principal Lecturer in Strategy and International Business at Portsmouth Business School. KATE HUTCHINGS (Ph.D, University of Queensland) is Associate Professor and Director of the International Business Research, Monash University, Australia. KEVIN IBEH is Professor of Marketing and International Business in the Department of Marketing, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where he also serves as Director of Research. IRINA JORMANAINEN is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Helsinki School of Economics at the Department of International Business, Finland ANDREW LEE is a Senior Lecturer in the University of Portsmouth Business School, with a PhD in Computational Linguistics, an MBA and a degree in computing science. XIAOHUI LIU is Professor of International Business at Loughborough University Business School, UK. She received her PhD in International Economics from the University of Birmingham, UK KAMEL MELLAHI is Professor and Chair of International Business and Strategy Group, Sheffield Management School, Sheffield University, UK FRANK MCDONALD is Professor of International Business and Director of the Bradford Centre in International Business at the Bradford School of Management, University of Bradford, UK BEVERLY DAWN METCALFE (PhD, Keele University) is Professor of International Management and Development at Liverpool Hope University, UK, and Research Fellow in Centre for Organizations and Development, Manchester. UK NIINA NUMMELA is Professor of International Business at the Turku School of Economics, Finland NARESH R. PANDIT is Professor of Management and Director of Research at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, UK. MÉLANIE RAUKKO, presently Senior Research Associate in International Business at Turku School of Economics, is finalizing her doctoral research on 'Key persons' organizational commitment in cross-border acquisitions'. MIKA RUOKONEN, D.Sc. (Econ.), is a senior consultant at Deloitte. His research interests include rapid internationalization of small technology-based firms and their business networks in the internationalization process. SAMI SAARENKETO is Professor of International Marketing in the School of Business at Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland. ROGER SØRHEIM is Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Professor at Bodø Graduate School of Business. HEINZ-JOSEF TÜSELMANN is Professor of International Business and Director of the Centre for International Business and Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. SIGRUN M.
